Been a slow start to the season, only one race so far but that was a WIN so I guess it's OK. Hopefully when all of the kids sporting events are done for the spring I will get to go racing alot more often. The race was on a 1/4 mile track, in about 3 inches of mud (been a real wet spring) spun the whole way around the track in the heat race. It finally dried out some and I got some traction in the feature and was able to win by 3/4 of a lap (I even passed a couple of cars twice). This race was in a class that consists of any FWD car so most of them were V6's. The last race of last season was a WIN also so now I guess I will try for a 3Peat. Guess I must have finally got the right combination on my engine:D

That's pretty cool. There are a lot of cheaters in that type of racing tho but I goes "if u ain't cheating u ain't trying" LOL

Yeah, I remember a couple users who admitted to cheating. One who used a GST in a NA race.

As well as a GSX owner who was in a FWD NA class. It makes me wonder how stupid these rednecks who run the races are:ohdamn:

nehring8: Hey man! I was wondering if you were still racing the Laser, you hadn't updated in a while. What improvements did you end up making this winter?

did not do anything to the engine excpet change the oil, still running the 4G64 block and 4G63 DOHC head, awsome compression with stock parts :) out of a junkyard. my next upgrade will be 390cc injectors to try to run full E85 on stock ECU, If I'm right the math may work out and not even throw a CEL. one problen that I consistently have is keeping my wheel camber where I want it, I want the top of both of my wheels to point to the left for left hand cornering, I use smaller bolts in the strut/spindle but they deep moving so I drilled two additional 1/4 in holes and put bolts through them to act as dowels, seems to be staying now

Raced again last friday night, not such good results. I raced on a half mile track that I used to dominate, now they changed the class and are allowing V6's. I started 5th in the feature and got 4th....I could keep up with them but did not have enough to pass (took like 2 laps to gain 1/2 car length) unfortunatley I did not have any points at that track so I started behind the fast cars. Oh well, it was still fun hitting 85-90mph going into the corner...and watching the underside of a car flash in front of me when he hit a rut was kinda exciting...

Raced again this weekend, Friday and Saturday night both (man was it hot in the firesuit and helmet), Friday Night race was awesome, started 11 in the feature with a super fast car on my outside in 12th, we ended up 1st and 2nd AND I WAS 1st, who know the taurus SHO was that fast...Saturday night was not as fun, I WON but all of the fast cars started way behind me so I passed the two cars in front of me and raced at about 3/4 speed the last 7 laps (I got a real nice trophy too cause it was the county fair race)...thinking the e-85/premium blend I'm using is helping keep the car cool, only got to 210 degrees....GOOD TIMES

Nice!

A friend races a OZ Rally Lancer at Painesville speedway, headed over there soon to help "adjust" a few things  He runs factory 4 class, and this Sentra SER has been kicking our ass

Sweet lazer!! Too bad its a dirt track car only but atleast it has a 4g64 with 4g63 head :)
