dipstick question

I need to know if the dipstick out of the 94 eclipse gs 4g63 is the same as a dipstick out of a 95 gsx

I know that when my wife's dipstick (97GST) popped out and got caught in the fan blades I attempted to utilize mine (90GSX) and mine was longer. I guess the dipstick tube is shorter or something for the 2nd Gens.

I remember when mine kept popping out, i tried putting bigger rubber bushings around the handle to secure it in the tube, and ended up breaking the handle off while the dipstick was still in the tube. So i had my mom pick me up a new dipstick from the dealership on her way home, and it was just a little longer than my old one. I have a 95 btw, and dunno what year she told them, but it was only a little longer than my old one, like about 1cm.

Yes, it is the same. Well, the handle is different (1G is a metal ring, 2G is plastic), but the actual dipstick part is the same. As long as it's 4G63, it'll work-- turbo or not.
