quicky, dipstick question

I honestly don't know but why would you want to switch them? If you need a new dipstick, take a trip down to a junkyard and pull one off of a scrapped DSM. Shouldn't cost you more than a few bucks.

i found a brand new one in a magazine, its nice, and its $9. so i was curious, and it said 95-98. maybe something to do with 6/7 bolt?

I am going to say Yes, in the fact that most people who sell stuff don't realize that our engines are pretty much the same (4g63t) unless you have the 420a. which still, it's a dipstick from a 4cyl doh-cam. If this becomes to be too much second guessing, just have someone(prefferebly a DSMer) stick their stick in your tube and check for snuggness and if it went down all of the way...but to agree with jumpman, Yes Junkyard!

I've never bothered to pull them both at the same time, but the 95+ has that nice plastic handle instead of the (pre-heated) metal one on the 1G.

Just guessing, I'd expect them to be the same length.

When I broke the end off of mine (doh) I compared it to a N/T one from a junkyard and it was the same length.
