quick question on dipstick holder

I recently broke off the handle to my dipstick and i cant get the dipstick out so i'm going to have to take out the dipstick holder. I see a bolt that is holding a bracket that is welded to the holder to the block. I took that out and it wont come free. Is there anything else holding it in. Am i over looking anything? Thnaks

There's an o-ring at the bottom that creates some resistance. You'll just have to work the tube out.

Get a 1g metal dipstick from the junkyard when you're done getting the old one out.
