Different wheel well??

So I went to my local junk yards to see whats new, and I happen to find a 2ga non turbo shell sitting there. It's really rare for them to have 2g eclipses there.

I needed a wheel well guard or how ever you call it, because mine was torn up from the previous owner (having to big of a wheel I guess). So I bought the driver side wheel well guard and went straight home to install it. Damn thing doesn't fit! So why did they make this one different??

Don't quote me on this but i "think" its because the fenders are different on turbo model eclipses and n/t's . I'm pretty sure because if i remember correctly when i had to replace my fenders in early 07 i remember there being two choices. One for a turbo vehicle and one for a n/t.

Is it because the NT doesn't have side skirts, which made mitsubishi make a different style wheel well?

Also my wheel well, from the looks of it had vents while the one I purchased at the junkyards didnt.

Go to jnztuning.net and order a splash guard for your car. or you could just take them off!
