well i changed the timing belt on my eclipse was kinda a pain
but not the end of the world fix it seemed to be.
only prob is that after i got it all back together (minus the a\c belt)
it won't start from what i understand and what i've described to the family mechanic (oldladys g'pa)my timing is not lined up right.
so i'm gonna tear it apart in a week , when i have some time off,
i figured i'll sell tickets to all DSMers who would like a lesson............
in cussing an socket breaking,1 12mm and 3 14mm, if you plan to attend please bring a surplus of band-aides

Check them with a straight edge. Across all four marks. If they are not PERFECT you will be off time.

make sure the pins are at 12 o'clock also

will do just as soon as i get time, i work 12 hr shifts nites and days at a
chemical plant so i leave when it's dark and get home when it's dark
but will check monday my 1 day off.

On mine, if I lined up the insides and then rotated to the other set of marks, they don't line up, so keep that in mind.

quick question not to highack. My tensioner pulley doesn't have the holes at 10 and 2 but more like 4 and 6 but the tension seems to be right by the pin in and out method (and the car runs like a champ). Thoughts? (i know its not a requirement to be at 10 and 2 but im a little far from the norm unless its different for a 98 tsiawd than others)
