Are the CEL codes 12, 43, and 55?
Also, I can't find my OBD 2 connector. It's not underneath the steering column near my right knee like it should be? Where else could they have placed it?
EDIT: found the OBDII/OBD2 plug. That's not my leg either, I found this picture on the net that led me in the right direction.
I had to lay down and look up under the dash to see it. It's directly above the gas pedal.

you took mechanical advice from someone at a autozone/oriley? why did they sell you something that had to be cut, I replaced my whole ignition system and never had to cut the wires, because Mitsubishi put connectors on everything unless its because of the 420A. Seems very unlikely though... I would check and see if thats the right part like check the number on it physically. Stop driving until its fixed.
