Did Denso make 780cc injectors?

Swapped my FIC 1000cc injectors with a guy who says the injectors were Denso 780cc injectors that he had bought from www.diamondstarmotorsport.com but I only see FIC on their site. Not even sure who sells them.

But now that I have them and need a new chip made, I'm not seeing the option for a Denso 780cc injector and can't find these on the net anywhere. I need to be certain of what I have. Wondering if he has it mixed up with PTE 780's cause the injector bodies are the same color and style but then again I don't know what a Denso injector looks like. I have a part number on the side if that helps. 27666/1834

He could have the companies mixed up, like FIC, PTE, Denso, because the highest I have seen for Denso is 720cc.

Yeah, that's the guy they came from. I can't find any information anywhere though about 780's other than from other companies. Hmmm....

If you said they are the same colour/style as your FIC injectors were, then he's probably mixed up. Unless there are some older denso injectors I don't know about, they don't look like FIC/PTE injectors. The Denso's usually used on DSM's look more like a stock injector. Denso makes greddy injectors, they just "brand name" them & jack up the price. This is what they look like to compare:

The fact that they look like your old PTE Delphi injectors is a strong indication that they are not Denso injectors. It wouldn't be the first time that somebody selling used injectors claimed they were Denso rather than the cheap Delphi injectors.
