Did a boost leak test all airs going into valve cover is that normal?

Hey guys for s**ts and giggles I decide to do a boost leak test on the 98 spyder I just bought few weeks ago and all the air is going into the valve cover and leaking out I cant even listen for small leaks! is that normal? cause my gsx never had that problem as well as the gst I owned back in the day.

Your PCV valve is leaking. They suck even if they are new! Get a USplastics inline check valve and put it in the hose between the PCV and intake manifold. http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/item.aspx?itemid=23369&catid=489

Ok I had put another valve cover on there and after I did the test I started it and car run like crap so I put the original valve cover back on that I just got done painting was going to let it dry first. When I put the original cover back on the car run fine then I figured it was the pvc valve.

do u happen to know which size valve I would need to buy from that site?

Size 3/8, they work great. That's not the only place where air can be going into the crank case thou. You cant really close all intake valves completely so air could be going past the rings. You can warm up the engine before you do a blt so the rings expand and they will give you a better seal
