How do you think the car would run with 2 pistons looking like this? (GS-T)

I'm almost flat broke because of this car so I'm debating:

1) if I should just replace the headgasket, close her all up and heavily turn down the boost

or

2) rebuild the entire thing (which will take ages since im broke and will have to do it in my friends driveway)

I would close her up with some arps, headgasket and a new timeing belt. And turn the boost down way down. Just chill out on the car untill your money gets right...happy tuneing..

Great, any other advise? When the car was running it was smoking white from the exhaust and breather. That's about it. The compression was shitty as well because of the headgasket and it just wanted to die. I will turn the boost down to 6 PSI since its sitting at 9 right now.

Since the head is off I would do an engine bay rebuild. Pull the pan. Pull out your rods and pistons. Get 4 rods/pistons from a turbo 2 G in good shape cheap, get new bearings and rings. Do a light hone of the cylinders for seating. Gap the rings properly. install the rods/pistons into the motor and put the head back on. You should be able to do this for no more than $200 if you shop around and can be done in about 5 hours. Then you can run boost without killing the pistons.
