I read alot of topics on the 7 bolt and 6 bolt but just thinking after reading all the post, i have a 2g talon with a 7 bolt that I had rebuilt about a year ago and just running bolt on mods with about 15lbs of boost. Do you think it would be safe from any crank issues for awhile? I also have a balance shaft eliminator kit. thanks

How many miles are on the engine before it was rebuilt, and how about now? It is very rare to havea engine walk after 100k and it is very over rated. The best thing to do would of been to check the play while it was out to see if it was within spec.

I would rock it and just maintain the engine with oil changes and the normal care you give it. Between my 2 friends one ran his stock 7 bolt with a t70 and 16g for 20k and it was finew itha 2900 pressure plate. Now it is in a 30r auto awd talon. So 7 bolts can handle power just run it. Theres nothing you can do, but dont loose sleep over it.

Crank walk dosent happen as much as you think it does. You got to remember how many members are on this site. There a guy on here twicks69 hes got a 2G eclipse with a 7 bolt and is pushing like 750 AWHP and he hasent had any problems with crank walk.
