Where do 660's usually max out at? Fuel mods are: Walbro 255, Aeromotive Afpr and the 660's. But on 18 psi and pump gas my IDC is getting extremely close to 100%. It gets to like 94-95%. This isnt normal is it. Oh, and my afr's are all between 11.0 and 11.5 according to the wideband. Mods are in my profile.

No matter what size injector you're using, they should not go above the 80-85% idc threshold. Any higher and you'll shorten the life of your injectors. You might have to move up to 750cc injectors.

Im using dsmlink, so when I do go to upgrade, maybe sonner than later now, Im going to get 1000's. So I can still have a little room to grow with in the future.

I see that your running a T3/T4 kinda setup and with 660's your hitting 94-95% duty cycle...My car is off the road for now due to modding and i have a walbro 255hp and fuel pump rewire, my turbo is b16g ported with 34mm wg flapper, im looking for injecteors so any clue on what sive i should get i want to run at least 20-21 psi on them though...But I know of coarse my small turbo compared to yours, isnt really much of a match but would 660's do well for me in you opinion???

size** ^^previous post

also if you would decide to sell your 660's for a resonable price send out a pm to me and ill check it out

Your IDC might seem abit high for that air/fuel, boost & turbo, but it could be correct. Since you are using Dsmlink what kind of lb/min are you seeing and what is your base fuel pressure?

660 is plenty for a b16g. :thumb:

The highest flow im seeing at that boost level is only 35 lbs/min. Base pressure is set at 43.5 psi. Yeah, i'll sell the injectors if you want em JF Zero Eclipse

Oh yes. These would definately help determine what's going on here... 650s flow enough fuel for around 420 horsepower at 80% IDC. You're at 95% IDCOMG !

35 lbs of air per minut will not max out your 650cc injectors... Something's amiss... Can you post a log?

I have to get the log off my labtop and to my desktop. Labtop has no internet access, so I saved it to a floppy disk, but my desktop doesnt have a floppy drive:cry:

Yes, I would say somethings up. You say your base FP is set correct, so 95% IDC on 660's, only flowing 35 lb/min seems to high. With my evoIII @ 18 Im seeing about 34 lb/min & low 60's ICD with 750's. With your car tuned to ~11 to 1, I would think you should be more in the high 70's to 80 IDC range. So first thing I would suggest would be to check for boost leaks as this will cause the car to run rich.

I'm guessing your getting you IDC reading from Dsmlink? I haven't used my link for awile but do you have to enter some specifics for IDC to get the correct readings? (props menu), or is that only for estimated air/fuel, torque, hp, etc?

Have you ever had the injectors flow tested? What is your global set to? Are you adding or removing fuel with the rpm based sliders & how much? What kind of gauge are you using to set your FP and have you verified that the gauge is correct? The cheep automotive FP gauges can easily be 5 psi out.

Do you have a lot of knock? If so the ecu will dump fuel and send your duty cycles through the roof and pull timing.

I cant get the log off my labtop. I'm using 3" GM Maf in blowthrough so the leak would have to be between the sensor and the Intake mafiold to cause it to run rich correct? Yes Im getting the IDC's from dsmlink, now that I think about it, I calibrated it for my 660's but the battery has since been disconnected and unless it saved it the calibration has been reset to w/e it is normally. So that is more than likely this issue with the high IDC's.
