dejon tool intercooler pipes, plastic or alluminum?

wel i recently got battery acid on my intercooler pipes and i was wondering if they were plastic or alluminum? i want to repaint them if there plastic or polish em if they are alluminum. i tPPED ON THEM YESTERDAY AND IT sounded like aluminum

buddy i got the point ok? i didnt know what they were its not like i banged on them all the time goin are these metall or plastic, sombody told me they were some sort of plastic, i found out for sure today by sanding down my intake, my bad for asking what was a dumb question to you and a simple one for me
