I have worked on 4 diffrent dsms recently and on all of them i discovered oil in the intercoolerpipes. i was wondering if this was a normal sign or if it is a problem. It is not alot of oil, but it looks like oil has been sucked through. Thanks :dsm: :dsm:

well most likely its either the hose off the valve cover or the turbo is leaking. It is possible that the seals are gone and oil is getting blown into the pipes. Easiest way check the hot side of the turbo. See if the housing has oil in it, if not then its fine. good luck

It's not only normal, it's just about inevitable. Taking hot oil fumes from the crank vent and pumping them into the hotter turbo output, and then running it into an intercooler to condense out the fumes is going to do that.
