Dejon intake mod for stock 2G MAF connection

Im looking for a way to get rid of my stock intake tube. I have a high flow 5in filter on the MAF now but want to deep six the ugly rubber intake tube to the turbo.

I have a budget at the moment and dont want to spend these ridiculous prices for a simple metal intake with a recirc inlet. So I found this and wondered if anyone has used one before and if they would work well...

Simple design, just have to cut the top part of the intake and clamp it to this piece.

Get the ebay 2g intake pipe. 3 inch k&n with adapter..It's bolt in.

Still looking at 200 or more $. Just the K&N is a rip off. $135 for their filter alone. Cheapest ebay mild steel pipe is 85. At least that Dejon pipe is $55.
I dont know. maybe ill make my own some how

If your paying 135$ for the k&n filter.Your doing it wrong.And if you are willing to pay 135..I'll sell you the filter for half that price, 65$ shipped..

Try 100$ for the whole maf, pipe and filter.

Mine is like that. Work just fine. Though that pipe seems a good bit longer than mine.
