deep curb rash

was wondering if there is a write up anywhere explaining how to fill in gouges in rims? also curb rash on the lip.

If you're polished, you're better off finding another wheel.

i have read this thread already and what if i need to deposit some metal in one area? could i tig weld on the rim with the tire off of course but with out warping the rim?

so do you think that putty will fill an area like that? on the last picture.

Rims from a mazdaspeed protege. I wouldn't weld the rims, you could still fix these. Easiest way is take them to a wheel shop and put them on the tire removal, installation machine. Have them turn it slightly faster than normal and use an angle grinder to level the lip off. Clean everything up and follow the steps from the link defiant provided above.
