I am trying to put a deck into my car since there is none currently but I do not understand the plug and play which wire to where to get my pioneer dxt-2369ub to work properly.
I uploaded a picture of the wire mess I have and if I could get any help like a diagram of what to put where that would be great:rocks:

You don't have to really look at the wiring too hard. Just match up the colors from the plug and play to your radio harness.

Example:

green with stripe gets connected to green with stripe.

The only ones you will have to know are + - and remote.

Hopefully that helps, but your deck should have come with a wiring guide/look up online.

His problem is his wiring harness is hacked up like my red eclipse so he has to wire it by hand. no plug and play harness that you match up then plug into car. am i correct? if so, Is this what you want?

Car Radio Battery Constant 12v+ Wire: Red/Black
Car Radio Accessory Switched 12v+ Wire: Blue
Car Radio Ground Wire: Chassis
Car Radio Illumination Wire: Green/White
Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: Black/Yellow
Car Stereo Antenna Trigger Wire: White/Black
Car Stereo Amp Trigger Wire: N/A
Car Stereo Amplifier Location: N/A
Car Audio Front Speakers Size: 5 1/4″ Speakers
Car Audio Front Speakers Location: Doors
Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Black/White
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Black
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Black/White
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Black
Car Audio Rear Speakers Size: 5 1/4″ Speakers
Car Audio Rear Speakers Location: Side Panels
Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Yellow/Blue
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Gray/Blue
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Yellow/Red

If thats not the case then i agree with Timechg. its just playing match maker with the wires... if they look alike then they go together.

Yes thank you Twiztedeclipse the stock harness was chopped so i do not have any idea on what the colors should be or which ones go to the pioneer deck to get it to work

So do I have to hook up for example:
Car radio acc. switched 12V+ wire blue---to the:
Deck radio acc. switched 12V+ wire (what ever color)----together and so on and so forth until all possible wires to the pioneer deck are hooked up and it should work?

To make things easier in future, I would have found an OEM radio harness soldered that in, then got the plug and play connector and wire the radio to that. That way if you ever want to remove the radio, (I saw another post about you wanting to sell the car) it will just unplug and unbolt.

Yea thats the concept. Its not really difficult just time consuming more annoying then anything:ohdamn: and i love doing car audio. I know it makes me think twice before wanting to change the deck.

Dude it's not that hard. Black is ground, red is ignition power, yellow is constant 12v source. The rest are for all the speakers.

do you think I could just buy this and solder wires together and then put an adapter plug in and solder wires from that to the pioneer deck?

That looks like it would work in conjunction with a plug and play harness. Like others have said, just mess around with the colors you know to see if you can get it to fire up. It may help to get a voltmeter out and check to see which ones are giving off power to track down your 12v constant and switched sources. You'll be able to figure it out, just a matter of time!
