Decent plug wires for 4g63T?

Hey guys, there are a TON of options for spark plug wires, from 25 bucks to 135 bucks, what is a good set for the money, I'm looking in the $50-60 range unless someone has had good luck with something cheaper. Just interested to see what everyone is running, the car is pretty stock so nothing to major is needed.

Just buy a set of MSDs and get it over with

NGKs are great for there price (under 40 I think)

I personaly had a set of magnacors (sp) and loved them fit right, fimly connected when you put them on, and looked decent also.

Now I have a set of custom MSDs casue of a few changes I made to my engine. But have yet to do anythimg to the car but start it.

13k on them and they are arcing through the insulation already.

MSD Ignition 8.5mm Super Conductor (40-50 ohms/ft)

Aurora ignition wire set (400 ohms/ft)
Vitek Performance Cables (their web site does not mention resistance, but John Monnin measured them at about 800 ohms/ft; the label under Vitek's braiding says "Magstar Gold 8mm High Performance S-4 Stainless Steel Mag Wire" - thanks John!; Magstar wires are manufactured by Wiretec)

Yo, for the money you can't beat the Accels, $42 from summit or just about anywhere else. You even get a choice of color(R, B, Y), for the little bit of ricer in all of us.

Good price, also it doesn't list a 91 anything eclipse or Talon, but shows the same 7920 Part number as advance auto parts shows on their website for 91 talon. Will these work?

Yes.

And it does list, in the applications table, 1998-90 Eagle Talon and Eclipse and Laser, etc.

Anyone's "better" wires will be just fine. After all, the stock wires are only good for about a decade.

I'm digging up this thread because I wanted to input that this thread was VERY useful to me as i'm sure it is/would for anyone else interested in spark plug wires. After my search for "plug wires" I found this thread to be the best.

Especially David15151's post with resistance ratings on the sets . . . wow is all I have to say. Those numbers are probably the most useful bits of information regarding plug wires.

Anyway bottom line is there should be a sticky with that information somewhere if there isn't one already.

i'm doing a coil on plug setup from SBR

each plug gets its own coil, more power, and no need to buy wires, and new coil pack

engine bay looks cleaner and less chance of wires interfering with t-belt

I'm using Accels, 17 bucks brand new on Ebay.

I dont see why you would spend more. Well, at least the majority of us.
Unless your really modded of course.

That's why they're covered. Both the belts and the wires.
