Wow, I completely forgot about this build thread. I made one on a local board that I update pretty often so I will copy and paste it here too....
October 2008 - I finally bought a beater to drive while what I had planned to be just installing the suspension but little did I know again things would go bad. ...
So here we are December 2008....Three days ago, the rear suspension is still not done, I honestly havent even really touched it in a month now but I started to do work on the engine in the mean time. I ran into more problems with the rear suspension that I am solving at the moment....
Finally here are some pictures from the last three days....
Heres what I started with three days ago and then the pictures will follow up till tonight.....
I decided to finish off the a/c since its pointless anyways...
And here is where I am at tonight......The ecu/engine harness is out of the car, I hiding all the wired and relocating some stuff, goal is to have two maybe three wires showing and thats about it.....
Harness gone....I still need to pull the fuse box harness as thats being put inside the car also....
Alright, well its now almost 6am....I worked on it for a while, got stumped on the wiring and started to pull the dash...However I stopped and put everything back together....
I decided that I want to keep the airbags from what people have been saying in the other thread, I can delete them later down the road no problem if needed.....So that really does not leave me any room in the interior of the car for the fuse box. I took a bracket I had and fitted up the fuse box on the fire wall where the battery usually is.....This location gives me about 3 inches between the box and the upper intercooler pipe and all the fuses are still easily accessible.....
Here is part of the reason I decided to keep the fuse box in the engine bay, I was trying to undo connectors through a hole I could barely get two fingers through..... :

Power steering is no more, I left the bracket in so I can pull the motor using it.....And the alternator will soon be gone also.....
Heres a teaser of the new street wheels.....Track wheels are just Rota Slipstreams(black)....
Currently what the interior looks like, Im putting in black carpet and a black headliner but keeping the grey dash and panels for now.....
I just needed a different color to offset all the gray, and since they car is black, well.......
Thats all for now, Ill work a little more tomorrow night but then It will be put on hold over Christmas for a few days.....
