Dead bosch 02 after less than 500miles?

So i put in dsmlink after the car sat for a week (UEGO worked fine) after installing dsmlink on a cold start like 30*F it sounded like a subaru hints of a miss ect. and after it warmed up no issues at all. accept now the WB is dead.....well.....sort of. I have a dead spot on my idle air to where at 1% throttle it will surge, whats strange is this makes the WB come to life for a short while. and if i go into link and disable an inject for a second (any one will do it) it will come to life again for a short while. its like the only way it will read is if the car is running like crap. WB is only 2 months old!!! so im not sure if it was the "miss" during the first startup after installing link that may have fouled the 02 or what. any thoughts are. ive only ran 93 oct for the 2 months ive owned the wb. i even tried using electric parts cleaner on the 02, put it in after it dried with no difference. i just find it hard to believe i killed an 02 in 2 months on pump gas.

and if its indeed dead, will a Bosch 17014 work? theyre like $50 shipped on amazon.

ok, i see nobody responded, i replaced the o2 with one out of a vw, its now working great, wish i knew what killed it though

what did the sensor look like when u took it out

well, u could tell it was used, pretty black, possibly from my morning "rich" conditions, like i said i hosed it down with elec cleaner to no avail

thats what happened to it you cant clean a o2 sensore and u cant touch it all you can do is put it in. if u put anything on it it will ruin it in a heartbeat same if u touch it.

no, i wouldnt to that to a working 02 , i did that AFTER it was toast, didnt really care at that point. it was already broke. figured what the hell.
