i have a 95 eclipse rs and im completly putting her back to stock but 97 look. my question is im goin to get 97 skirts and caps. first where do i get them and 2nd what do i need and how to put them on like drill holes in the doors or what.

thanks
phil

No matter what you do I think you should keep your front bumper it looks almost stock except slightly more agressive. As for the side skirts I have no clue but I would also like to know so I could get some for my RS.

I would just search for the millions upons millions of 97+ conversion threads, and as far as locating side skirts, go to ebay, type "oem eclipse side skirts". Or go to dsmtrader.com and post a wanted add and i bet there will be people that will e-mail you that have some skirts they want to sell

well i would keep the bumper cept for i broke it LOL. so im goin with stock all around with a lip and apexi n1 exhaust and a carbon fiber hood. i have some front damge on the hood to.

How bad did you break it? Is is possible to spend $7 on a fiberglass kit to fix it at Walmart? Unless you completely trashed it by running into something.

i hit my friends truck with a bed on it so ya. 2 i HATE fiberglass now to many front ends just want a 97 stocker and put the lip on it. which is pure sex on our cars i think. but for the door caps would i have to drill holes?

IMO, the bc2 kit is one of the less ricier kits out there.. I was considering buying one. But yeah, Ebay would be your best bet for finding the OEM parts you need. And if its an RS and you didn't have door caps with your current kit and have never had them, I think you have to drill your own holes for them. I have the same dilemma. :dsm:

yeah, you'll have to make a template, to mark exactly where the holes will need to go. I would say drill small holes, before just going full size. Good Luck.

amen to that 99gst. and where would i get a template for those holes. and also ebay has no side skirts.
