Not much has happened this week, my block has been in the machine shop. It was a pretty crappy day out today, but we were able to get my car over to my brother's house after fighting with it to get it started after sitting all winter.
When we first got the car firing over, white smoke poured from the tail pipe, and all my exhaust leaks I wasn't aware of...
... then as it idled it sounded like a 2-stroke bike, my turbo was spooling at idle, we both thought, "well its a good thing this motor is coming out!"
..... We made a trip to Advance Auto, picked up a Optima Red Top, some new spark plugs, and got some fresh gas, put it all in and she fired up and purred like a kitten!
Drove the car about 20 mins to my brother's house, now I am itching to get the new motor done and in, I really forgot how much fun boost is!!
My block should be back Wednesday, we will get the motor ripped out of my car so that I can do the wire tuck, and clean up under the hood before my new motor goes in! I will have some new photos thoughout this week, I am praying for some good weather!
