today i flipped the block upside down and chased all the head stud holes to make sure there were no crap left over from the machine shop hot tanking the block.
once that was done i inserted and tapped in the new alignment dowels and checked the head studs for fitment
set the engine to tdc for cylinder 1 to make things easier with timing
the new mitsu mls head gasket resting on the 50ra deck of the block
looks so nice and at home...
torqued the head and will let it "rest" for 24 hours then recheck
night mr motor. will see you in the am for a check up
