datalogging cable for 2Gs

HEROSTAR what do you mean you could not upgrade your OS on your visor?? I was going to buy the part from multiplex and the serial cable but I Too have a handspring visor. Are they not upgradeable? Do i have to get an M- series Palm???

mine is an older visor delux running os 3.2 or something... certian visors can be upgraded, but mine couldn't... you'll just have to check online to see... there are a few websites that tell you if you can upgrade yours.

OK, I finally got it all figured out. I'm using a palm m100 with palm'n stein software. I ended up getting the t16-003 ODB2-serial connector and it works. I spent under 100 including shipping for the palm/interface/cable so I think I did pretty good... Now if my engine wasn't broken...

i just broke down and bought the 175$ cable/software from datalogger.com. i figure i get the official support, and i know its gonna work without having to ghetto rig some weird shit.

I have an M100 palm PDA with a hotsync cable and the T16-003 interface from multiplex-enginerring with hal landrys palmnstein and I have 0 problems I havnt tried any other Data loggers but I can monitor and log everything I need so. I paid 30 for the palm and 85 for the interface and the program is free.

my palm pilot only came with the hotsync crade, is it possible to hook my palm to my car through the cradle? because my cradle has a serial cable coming out of it. or do i need the direct cable that goes from the palm, with serial on the end, to go into the serial coming from my OBD2 ?

I got my hotysnch cable on ebay for one penny, plus shipping came out to almost $10. I think if you use the cradle you will have a hard time keeping the palm in the cradle while driving and keeping good connection.

like he said it would be better to get the hot sync cable from ebay thier hella cheap mine luckly came with one but brand new thier like $17 from ebay like he said his was a penny so . with a plam and a hot sync along with hal landreys palmnstien you would be good to go mine works just fine.
