Hi,
I'm installing a Carputer on my 1G Eclipse to control everything possible!
Now I've got a datalogger (Palm) with MMCd.
I know that I can run an emulator on the computer and install the same software, but with the bigger resources of a computer I think it's possible to have something better!
Waiting to have DSM link I enjoy if someone could post a list of possible software with screen shots...
Thank to everybody.
Dalailama.

more comp power isnt the problem - the bottleneck is the resolution you can squeeze thru the palm-cable.
Most "free" stuff out there is for OBDII not I

Your're right, but when I say I'm loocking for better program I mean I like a better skinned program...

I think there is a big difference between the pictures attached... :)

P.S.: Do you please confirm to me that 1G Eclipse have OBDI?

What program is the first two shots?

Also, I think OBD I is less expensive since the interface to convert the 2g OBD II to a usable signal is like $80 to $100+ while OBD I is like $15. Check the tech article link above and the poster can probably sell you a complete interface.

numbers are numbers man. who cares about the flashy gauges and intake manifold damage :)

I don't agree with you...
..you're right numbers are numbers, but there are different ways to show them off, and if there is a choice I choose the best one...

However (for Wufei) first two shots are from http://www.carobd.com/featobd.html , it's a front end user software for carputer.

well if you look at mmcd, it does give you different colored bars to show what it indicates, so you can 'show it off' also mmcd has warnings that will beep at you if you set the parameters in the settings tab. Compatibility of an OBD II program in an OBD I car = not going to work. nice idea though :)

ok, ok... you love your colored bars and I love my colored skin... :thumb:
The most important thing is that all of us love our cars!!
eh! eh! LOL

Hey thanks! Yeah, I'm also interested whether there is variant of MMCd for 2g's.

Hey guys I have a problem and I was wonderin if anyone could help. I was dumb and let my logger(palm M130) die and when i put it on the cradle all my software was gone, I recently moved and now I cant find the software disk. Anyone know a link i could get 1gen MMCD sofware? the only one i could find was sourceforge.com but i couldnt get it to work. Any suggestions?

And while im at it, I have a 90 eprom to go in my 92, I know i have to repin two wires but im not sure which ones? It would be a big help. Thanks!
