data logger on a 92 awd problem

ok here is the problem .when I hook up my palm 3 to my car the anti lock brake light comes on ,an stays on until I disconnect it . and car seems to stop charging .any ideas

The datalogger cable puts the ECU and the ABS computer into diagnostic mode. You need to find an auto-on datalogger cable.

Yes you need a cable like the one he said, got mine off ebay for about 34 shipped.
