Okay, so I searched and found similar situations but no clear solution; so I figured I would try myself. Here's the scenario:

About a block away from my house the brake, voltage, and anti lock lights came on my dash (CEL was already on) and my radio died suddenly then restarted. If I tried to go a little hard on the gas the car would hesitate, and if I turned off my headlights the warning lights would dim a bit. After parking, I let the car idle for a bit and it seemed fine so I turned it off.

I immediately tried to restart it and it wouldn't crank at all, then after a few times it started cranking and turning over. A try after that and it started. After turning it off again, I couldn't get it to start again.

I had my battery checked a few weeks ago, and it was fine. It was pitch black so I couldn't check the fuses but I will in the morning. I'm assuming it is the alternator, but if anybody has had this or a similar issue, insight would be greatly appreciated.

I'd start by checking your battery terminals to make sure no wires are slipping out, then move onto grounds.

After that i'd move onto the alternator. It's usually the easiest most simple things that go wrong

I've had the same issue before. I changed the alternator and problem is no more. Best of luck

first check your battery voltage and load test it if you have the equipment. if it checks out then make sure the connections are tight. then check the alternators connections and wires. your problem lies somewhere in that area
