Does anyone know or have a link to a write up to actuate the cylone butterflies with EVO ECU? i want to test the ecu on my 2g. im controlling the cyclone with FPS of Ceddy Mods.

thanks for any help

You can use the ICS relay control to activate the butterflys. Pin 57 of the USDM Evo 8 ECU is the Intercooler Sprayer auto trigger. This pin is grounded by the ECU when the conditions that are set in the ROM have been met.

Basically, you set the sprayer timer to 0 off time (stock ROM sprays for 10 seconds then off for 10 seconds at a time IIRC), then use the min rpm, or TPS activation to set the point where you want the butterflys to open. The rest is just basic wiring.

Excellent news!! Thank you. Let me try it out and give feedback on this.

Delta448,

When i change the value to "0" on the Off time condition on the IC relay timer on/off table, It changes also changes the value to "0" on the rpm for the IC Relay Control Min RPM.

If i change the RPM value to 3900 it changes the off time value to 12.5. or do I only use the TPS option and zero out the timer and min RPM?

Is this ok and it will function? See image uploaded.
