CVAxle replacment

How hard is it to replace a CV axle in a 1G Eclipse N/T?? I had to change one in my old Honda Accord so I'm guessing there about the same

Probably pretty much the same. They are really pretty easy.

I figured it would be about the same, do happen to know how much a CV axle cost for this car??

I believe napa had them for $65 last i checked. Just go to their site and search.

$65 is about right just make sure take the core back. And replacement is not difficult.

Yeah, make sure to pick up some PB blaster to get off that 32 mm nut (if its the same size as the ones on my car). Other than that, its pretty straight forward and should take more than an hour or so.

Turns out Advanced Auto sells them for $55 with the core returned I plan on doing it this Sunday.
