I was told that in order to fix a broken CV joint i would have to get a new axel. Am I just paranoid or is this correct?

The axle normally is around 100. Aftermarket parts stores normally have lifetime warranty. When you go to purchase one you will need the year, transmission type, and if the car is equipped with abs.csholm87 said:How much would either one cost me?
