Cutting, turning, and welding a stock T25 turbo outlet

So I am getting ready to cutt off the outlet of my T25 spin it and weld it back on so I can get better air flow with my FMIC. Although the turbo is made out of like a cast iron and I am wanting to use a wire feed welder...any suggestions on how to do this? I dont want to melt it down or screw it up.

I bought a used 90 degree pipe for the T25 to go with my FMIC for $35 shipped. If I were you, I'd just go with a 90 degree pipe and not worry about it. When you upgrade your turbo and get a bigger one, you won't have to worry about hacking the T25.

a 90 degree pipe is not going to work it needs to be a 180 degree pipe such as the one Dejon sells just for this instalation
