Cut outs

So I've heard form a couple of people that there is a downpipe with a cut out. Is this true?

Just so you know, exhaust cutouts are illegal in every state. Whatever you do, don't let the Santa Rosa screws find out you have one. They'd take the car because of it.

The track doesn't always allow them either. You have to ask which days they are aloud btw. With that said I'm not a fan of the electric cut outs since I've heard of them leaking often and needing rebuilds within a short period of time. Also you hit a bump and there goes some big $.

Yeah, don't take the chance on losing your car because of a cut out. If you're dead set on buying it make sure that it'll be worth your while on what you want to do with the car and make sure to be careful not to let the polizei get you!

I have a manual cut out installed on my car right now, but we cant really use it for driving around. I open it up once a while and drive it around the block for the fun of it, but thats it. If you know San Jose,(maybe other places too) every friday, saturday and sometimes sunday, popo's will pull you over(if you have a "modded car") for no reason and check your car for any illegal mods. I dont know if its the same there in other cities but i wouldnt recomend you getting one. They are loud as hell and sounds nice and all but its not worth losing a car. But if you intend to get one, make sure you put it on a spot where you can hide it.
