If you look all the way to the right on the bottom of the picture, you can see the fin thingy sticking out, yea, I want that gone, then I want to sand the area and make it all smooth and stuff, then primer, then paint, you know the routine, but I really want to take off those fin things, can I do this??? See I didn't know if I could because I've seen cracked fiberglass bumpers and there are layers of that cloth stuff in them, didn't know if this made it impossible or something, thanks in advance guys.

it is just gonna take more work than you expected and iff you have never worked with fiberglass it is still doable just make shure you sand off all the gellcoaing in the surrounding area or the resin wont stick i found out the hard way it is time consumming to but it will save lots of money if you do it yourself
