So I picked up a new GSX shell two weeks ago and have found some interesting goodies during initial tear down. I am trying hard to decide whether to keep this one, or build my 2ga TSi instead and figuring out just how crazy the previous owner was may help in that decision. Can anyone who has played with quite a few suspension setups help to determine if this rear sway bar is something that was made custom, or is an off the shelf part?

Other than the RMDSM, Progress, Suspension Techniques, and Eibach bars, I haven't found any other sets that were produced for our cars that are used that look anything like this at all. The only thing close was the RRE adjustable setup, but this definitely isn't adjustable. It is absolutely straight across and uses the stock mounting points from what I can see, but still clears my 3" exhaust that a lot of guys have problems with on these aftermarket bars.

Its going to take me a minute to throw pics up cause I have to log in and load them from my phone, so bear with me. Any ideas would be wonderful, thanks guys!

Have you seen this discussion on the link forums?

I know you stated you didn’t have adjustment holes, and the one pictured in the thread above has 3 possible adjustment positions. But of note I have also seen versions with what looked like only 2 adjustment positions.

I’d hit RRE up directly to see if they offered variations throughout the years.

Awesome find, thanks! I tried the Link forums but its hard to sort through the few threads that have sway or anti-roll in their title to find pics. Very cool to see that is exactly what I have, I will have to look closer when I get home to find out if I just missed the adjustment holes or what. The previous owner didn't leave the wheel lug key so I have to spend $18 at O'Reilly's to get a special removal tool. Tried to hammer on one size smaller socket but those suckers are hard LOL.

I'll take some more pics once I get the wheel off too, I am gonna do some more research on their bar to find out how to set up the car. I see a lot of guys mentioning that it is agressive and really brings the rear around. Fun to have oversteer, but not fun to be so unbalanced if it just skates out around corners, I may be drilling some mounting holes even further back if they aren't available now! Wonder how much these cost when RRE made them?
