Ok, over the years of having dsm owning friends, i have amassed a collection of 4 SMIC's. even though it would be UGLIER than SIN, how feasible would it be to weld them all up into one fat ass FMIC. I can mig/tig/etc weld but....would it be worth it. would cost me nothing to do.

just throwing that out there.... lets have some feedback

Dejontool used to make a FMIC out of two SMIC cores. It didn't look terrible, but you could tell something was different about it. It might be a lot of work, but if you have experience doing it, go for it, just for fun. It's not like you're going to use them for anything else, right?

hmmm, that'd be neat to see. i scoped ebay and nothing. i bet i could make a pretty sweet FMIC. just upgrade the inlet/outlet sizes, .....a couple of bucks at the sheetmetal shop. maybe ill try this.

I have a friend with a turbo 5 litre mustang. He took 3 side mount intercoolers, made end tanks and loves it. It doesnt look bad either.

I say go for it. If nothin else it will at least be unique.
