Custom Hood.

Picked this up today, got a good deal. Still deciding if I like it. Its growing on me, I like it more that most of the cf hood's see. I love stock look but need something to help on the 117 degree days. z. What do you think? Its a modded stock hood, and yes it will be painted.

I like it. Not sure how well the hole over the intake would affect airflow into the intake. Pulling heat out is always a plus. Know what you've dropped with intake temps?

This has helped lower intake temps coupled with the vent. However I am not logging so I dont know for sure...

Looks good. Is there any mesh or protection in the vents to prevent things from going inside? Wonder if rain will cause any issue especially with the vent near the intake. Where did you purchase this hood from?

Well, its not my DD and I live in Phoenix sooooo rain is not a big issue. The hood was custom made by a local dsm juckie with vents molded in from RRE. I have never seen this hood on another car. I have seen the vent on other cars just not molded and not with the side vent for the intake.

First off, I love this hood, it's sexy and not over done.
If your not planning on getting a CF hood anytime soon, Leave it black it compliments the red oh so well

yeah I THINK I like it man. Its definitely different but it looks like it was done very nicely. I'd say leave it black. Car's lookin good, the only thing to test now is the functionality of the scoops.
