curious question

so i was looking at the 1.8 engine orielly auto sales and when i saw the pics it does not have the balance shaft belt nor the balance shaft like on the oil pump where the balance shaft would go there is a freeze plug ill include the link but if it does not work just go to oreillyauto .com and look up 94 eclipse 1.8 and lsearch enging long block and look at the timing belt pic

Judging by the picture i'm gonna have to guess that the engines they sell have "balance shaft eliminations" done to them.

I would be a little concerned about the stubby shaft used to replace the rear balance shaft. Hopefully its the type with the oiling groove in it.
