My car has no cat, but stock pipeing, and my car is in the process of a n/t to a gst engine swap and look in my profile on whats done to the engine. Now, is the n/t exhaust pipeing under the car smaller than the gst's exhaust pipeing... Like in the diameter and thickness of the pipe. I have 3 in exhaust system (muffler and pipeing) that I bought but its going to take like 3 weeks to get here and im thinking maybe I should just cut the pipe off under the car after the first resonator so theres not too much back pressure in the meantime.? Will this be ok, I already have no cat on the car, I just dont want to have too much back pressure from n/t piping and want to have some power in the meantime while I wait for my 3 in set up. Is it going to be extrememly annoying loud. Ive heard turbo'd cars dont carry such a loud annoying, ( and illegal ) exhaust note as n/t cars do, so will I get away with the cars sound decibles not being too loud cutting the pipe off after the resonator, or will it be unbearable loud for everyday street driving.
after that resonator until I get the 3in?
