Just ordered mine! woot woot! they said it should be here either friday or monday, which is relatively quick so ill be okay with either. My total came out to 105 dollars shipped :thumb: Ill be sure to keep everybody updated. The woman I talked to on the phone was extremely nice and helpful, took all of 5 minutes to complete the order.

Awesome :thumb: . I hope you can do a cleaner install than mine. I think I could have done a better job. It doesn't matter though cause all the bolts and screws are hiding inside the lip. Either way, I'll be taking the lip off today and taking it to a bodyshop to get it painted to match the car's color. I'll be sure to post picts once I get it back and installed again.

I like the way 2G bumpers look, and the best way to accent an already great front is to add on these lip kits. I thought I had seen all the lips for 2Gs, but that was a good find!

Your lip looks awesome. Do you have any better pictures of your car?

That red one looks good...That lip is like the ones sold on ebay or am I mistaken ? How's the fitment on that ?

Yeah, its from ebay. Install was a breeze, but you need to use your own bolts. Excellent fitment.

those look like they are the same as abs?

A little heat from a propane torch (not to close guys) will help you bend it without it wanting to "spring back"

I wonder what one of those would look like on a 2gb talon?

im not really a fan of aftermarket body parts but the red car and the white car is sweet

I was very close to buying one of those from ebay. But just like the RM, it lowers my already lowered car too much and I would have never made it out of the parking lot in the apartments I live in. That's why I liked the euro one so much. It looks sweet and it doesn't lowered the front as much as the other 2. But it is good to know that we have more alternatives to the RM lip now. And with pictures which is what people like to see before they make a purchase.

My lip is currently at the body shop getting painted to match the color of my car. I'll be sure to post pics once I get it back.

When mine arrives I'll snap a pic of it on the Talon if the fit is close before I install it on the Spyder...I suspect it is going to be way too narrow at the corners as the 2Gb flares quite a bit on the corners.

what do you ask for when you order from dynamic?? i want that seat lip that fits the r32 but also fits eclipses???? just wondering in case there is more then one lip available for the SEAT/r32

I just asked for the SEAT(say-ot) Leon lip that was $89.00 - they had them in stock and shipped mine wednesday afternoon. Very friendly folks.

Just tell them you want the Leon Cupra R lip for the R32s. That's all I told them and they said "OK".

just ordered mine. very nice lady ships today. hurry up and get them color matched photos up i am debating between color matching it red or shoot it with a nice black instead of the dull plastic look.

mine just got here, so it took two business days, awesome service and very fast shipping, A+ for dynamic, but i think im gonna keep mine the flat black, im gonna install it tonight so i should have pics tomorrow

I already got mine back from the bodyshop painted white. But I won't be able to put it back on yet. I'm installing an evo3 16g with a bunch of other parts and I need to put the car on the ramps which will be impossible with the lip installed. As soon as I'm done with the turbo install and make sure everything is workind alright, I'll put the lip back on, snap a few shots, and post them up.

Mine came today as well - I test fitted it on the 2Gb Talon bumper and it does not look good. The lip flares foreward too early while the Talon does not flare until the outer edge. I'll take a pic if you want to see the bad news as well :)

Time to take the bumper off the Spyder and get to work!

Finally got mine on, turned out really good, and I didnt scrape it once today and my car is lowered nearly two inches. Doesn't quote stick out like the RMDSM lip that I had in the past, but gives that subtle appearance that I love. I ended up getting some stainless steel hardware at lowes to fasten it on, used 10 bolts in all, 4 on each side and 2 in the middle. This thing is not going anywhere, but enough of my rambling....

felt kinda cool knowing that since road-rocket didnt have his on that I was the only one rockin this lip in the entire country, what an awesome thread, and again props to road-rocket for investigating and ordering this thing even though nobody knew if it would fit, great find :thumb:

Damn! Your ride looks awesome. It looks so clean. Anyways, I probably won't put mine back on for a while. Tomorrow I'm installing my 16g and probably next week I'll install my JRC fmic. Then I'll put the lip back on. By the way, how did you end up installing yours?

Forgot to mention, I was a the vw vortex forums and noticed that Dynamic Motorworks is sold out on the lips. A new shipment will arrive in 2 weeks. I think sebassttiann might have ordered the last one :thumb:

Thanks man, I only wish I had white though, would look so much cleaner. As far as mounting the lip I did exactly what you said, I trimmed up the two middle pieces and grinded the notches down on all the mounting brackets. I then went to Lowes hardware store and picked up 10 bolts, 10 nuts, and 20 washers...all stainless steel. And I don't know how you guys wanna do it but I don't remember exactly what size I got off the top of my head but I got a fairly large size to make sure that this lip wasn't going anywhere. I then got some chalk, marked the middle of my bumper and marked the middle of the lip, then I lined the two up and held it in place. At the points where I was planning to place the 10 bolts, I got 10 wood screws and with an electric screw driver drilled through both the lip and the bumper. When I was done the lip was secured to the bumper and made sure it looked exactly how I wanted. I then took the lip off and got a drill bit a little larger than the size of the bolts I had bought. Away from the car I drilled the holes for the bolts where the wood screws had been and did the same for the bumper. As far as the middle piece went I just drilled through the middle of V shaped indentions in the middle so it didn't dip down in the middle and held secure in the middle. I then placed the bolts on and that was it, sorry that was so long, but here is a pic showing which of the mounting notches I used.
