Cruise Control Elimination

I want to remove the cruise control and so far removed the cable assembley and the unit itslef, but how do i eliminate the box that is against the fire wall? It looks ugly and i want to remove that one also, but i dont know how to reroute the throttle cable? Is there a way to do all this?

Yes, buy a non cruise cable and replace the whole cable from the pedal to the throttle body...
