air conditioning and power steering elimination

Okay so does eliminating the a/c and p/s give any WHP or just Crank HP? And how much does it give? Is it worth eliminating? Any info or opinions would be great!!

I just did it to have a cleaner engine bay, but by removing rotational mass there are gains in horsepower, you will not notice it though...

Completely not worth it to not have PS, I'm getting mine fixed as soon as I can.

If you want to know what it's like to drive without the A/C and PS, take the belts off and go drive around.

All that work? It requires loosening two nuts the pull each belt off. Do you honestly think you'll get a better answer from someone online then you would spending 5 minutes pulling the belts?

Having no PS isn't bad at all, seriously this site must be full of 100lb men, I also removed mine to clean up the bay a bit. As far as the HP gain, maybe 2whp......maybe.

Since you have an NT I'd keep it because it'll be hard to sell it without the PS if/when you do choose to sell it.

Not having P/S only will show when your driving slow, during a turn. Really all you would get out of removing the two is a cleaner engine bay.

No, crank horsepower tends to wander away before it gets to the wheels. It doesn't like the dirt and exhaust smell down there. WTF
