Creaking lower ball joint

Could the upper control arms or something else make this noise too? Mine used to make this noise a few years ago, did the PB blaster trick for a while until one day my passenger lower ball joint gave out at a stop sign thank goodness. Replaced all lower contol arms and the noise is back. Couldn't be the joints already?

You must perform an alignment after almost any suspension work.
