This will be my first time pulling the motor and i have some questions.

The 7bolt in the car currently has wiseco pistons and eagle rods. I picked up a 6 bolt block with 100K miles on it. I was wondering if i can swap the pistons and rods into the 6bolt? Or is that not possible.

7bolt build only has only 10k miles on it that's why i didn't want to just get rid of them.

Thanks

Okay, yeah definitely getting new rings. Already bought ARP head and main studs for 6bolt.

If the pistons look good, is it okay to reuse the stock 1g rods with it? I am assuming i'll have to get them machined.

Running low on funds since i am getting the tranny rebuilt too.

how will the pistons work?? 6 bolt uses 21mm pin.. 7 bolt uses 22mm... right? thats if you are talking about not buying new rods.. the stock 6 bolt rods are 21
