crankwalk cheap fix?

The 2G turbo DSMs have crankshaft berrings that are out of spec from that factory correct.? so if you went to Mitsubishi and orderd the right crankshaft berrings for your year model car and install them that should solve the crankwalk problems correct? and how would one know if the walk has gone too far to be repaired? any one know how hard it is to install the CS berrings?

the crankshaft bearings that were manufactured out of specs were only in 1995 i believe. There is no actual facts knowing whats causes it, but they think it may be from oil squiters getting clogged, bearings no getting oil and such.

the cheapest fix would be to buy a 98 99 shortblock from a wrecked car out of the junkyard... 98 99 has some block revisions and apparently eliminated the problem.
