Hey guys. got a question, my Crankshaft pulley seems to not be on tight. and by that i mean when my car is on you can see it spinning wobbly like. Any ideas on what to do to fix this problem?? Is it just a bad pulley or is the crank shaft gone bad to?? Please any help would be nice.

I have searched for a little bit. just wanted to know if the crankshaft it self is messed up if the pully is wobbley or if there is anything else i should replace along with the pulley...i can search for hours and hours and not seem to find exactly what im looking for... seems to be easier to post and get replies in 2.5 seconds

You'll learn far more by searching and reading than just getting an answer the easy way...but I digress. :banghead:

The crank should be fine. Wobbling of that magnitude doesn't even happen with a crankwalked motor.

I've had one shear all the bolt head's off but one when the bolt's let loose i was 125 miles from home so i had to replace that & did the timing belt as well for peace of mind.

Still have the pulley it's chewed up bad kept it as a souvenir.

First, be POSITIVE the 4 bolts on the pulley are on tight. Second, check it for a wear in the links provided.
