crankshaft position sensor question

i have a 95 eclipse rs and a 95 eagle talon est parts car. i want to swap cps connectors but the wires are different colors (both 3 wires) my car wont start and what i read in these forums this sounds like it may be the problem every where i went to buy the cps required the different connector.

Honestly im not to sure about that, but i figured that id just let you know about the search feature. You can find alot of info with it.
