Ok so when we were refastening the flywheel to the crank on my 420a we over torqued one of the bolts and its only got about 70-80 lbs of torque cause it stripped out a coil or two in the crank...should it still be ok with all the other 7 bolts holdin it in there strong at close to 100lbs?

Out of safety I would recoil it and torque it back down. My cousins datson pickup truck was a victim of not using all the flywheel bolt and it came flying out :(

Daily beater and I asked my buddy he had the final read and it had atleast 90lbs on it still so I should be ok right?

Are you referring to the 8 bolts that fasten the driveplate to the crankshaft (opposite end of the damper pulley)? The torque spec for those 8 bolts is only 70 lbs/ft - not 100 lbs/ft.

Yes. I read that it was 100 ft/lbs on a thread a few days ago. Will the extra torquing be anything to worry about? I'm not extremely car savvy.
