which way do I pull my cheater bar toward the front or toward the rear????? dont wana snap this bolt

Are you talking about the big bolt that holds the timing gear on? It's regular thread--Righty tighty, Lefty Loosie.

Loosen or tighten?
The bolt has normal threads (right hand) so clockwise to tighten and counter to loosen.

I have been pulling toward the front so I have been tighten it

That's really not very descriptive.

If you happened to have the breaker bar pointing up and you were pulling to the front of the car you would be trying to loosen the bolt but if the bar was below the centerline and you pulled to the front the reverse happens.

motor still in car. so only have access at the bottom..so breaker bar is pointing toward the ground

You'll need a really long bar to crack the bolt loose. It's torqued to about 120 ft lbs.

I can't remember if the crank bolt holds the harmonic dampener on or if it's just the four small bolts on a 2G.

its got for but need to take timeing cover off to check for oil leak. do they make a non ac crank pully????
