I know that it's recommended to get an OEM, or any crank pulley is dampens harmonics. But here's the situation...
I've seen 2 OEM pulleys seperate, and heared about it more than once on here. I don't want to go with an OEM one.
I'm still using my OEM pulley. It has a ton of miles on it, and being that I completely rebuilt the entire motor, I don't want this one seperating on me.
I don't have a ton of money to blow on one, but I found one on Summit.com
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ASP-339300/Application/?query=Year|1997|Make|MITSUBISHI|Model|ECLIPSE&prefilter=1
Anyone ever try one of these and if so, were there any advantages/disadvantages? I believe this one is a regular aluminum pulley, I didn't read anything special about it.
Thanks for any help.
Steve
