crank pulley not align

i don't have power stearing or a/c but my crank pulley seems to be sitting out about 1/4" to 1/2" from my harmonic balancer and alternator. is this also on backwards? it did shred one of my belts already (that's how i noticed).

looks like the bigger pulley is on backwards and what exactly do you mean about the harmonic balancer? Off time?

That pulley on top is your water pump. Not your crank pulley. There are four bolts holding that onto the pump shaft, check to ensure those are tight. Can you supply a better picture of the problem?

they are tight. so the previous owner put it on backwards? it needs to be flipped? i'll get a picture of the face tomorrow.

It's common for people to accidentally install the water pump pulleys the wrong way.
